Javon Alyasiri has lived and worked in the Madison area since 2002 and has over a decade of professional experience in directly serving clients and advancing mental health and community nonprofit interests.
In addition to maintaining a private psychotherapy practice since 2004, Javon has worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups as an Intake Coordinator and Psychotherapist with Family Service Madison and as a Community Prevention Specialist with The Prevention and Intervention Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (PICADA), both in Madison. Javon also has over a decade of experience in community nonprofit and civil service executive leadership and supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, and Catholic Charities Diocese of Madison.
Javon holds a Master’s of Science degree in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a concentration in community mental health and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in Psychology with an emphasis in Business and Economics. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Wisconsin and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
